Known by many as @KamalTheServer, Kamal is more than just the face of our restaurant — he’s the heart. Born and raised in rural Punjab, India, Kamal grew up immersed in the bold flavors and deep-rooted traditions of North Indian cuisine. Like many first-generation immigrants, he came to America with little more than a work ethic, a dream, and the drive to build a better future for his family.

He worked long hours, saved every penny, and learned the restaurant business from the ground up. Inspired by his father’s unshakable resilience and success, Kamal followed in his footsteps — bringing together the best of Indian hospitality, culinary skill, and modern business sense to open

Today, India House is a proud, family-owned kitchen serving authentic Indian food with handcrafted spice blends, traditional cooking methods, and modern-day convenience. From classic Tandoori Chicken to rich Butter Paneer, and even Masala-spiced Lassi and Chai, every bite carries a story from Kamal’s journey — from Punjab to SoCal.
